Bob Dylan Adds Further Shows To Aussie Tour

Another opportunity each for Perth and Melbourne

More Bob Dylan Bob Dylan Profile

In news that should surprise almost nobody, legendary troubadour Bob Dylan has added a third and final show in Perth – where his shows have already faced overwhelming demand, with the second event already having sold out – as well as a fourth and final show in Melbourne, to his impending Australian tour.

The newly announced West Australian show will go down on Friday, August 15, at the Riverside Theatre, Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre, while Melbourne will get their additional show at the Palais Theatre on Thursday, August 21, which makes it only one of two remaining opportunities for Victorians to catch the iconic muso in action, with their first two shows also booked out already.

It's little wonder Aussies are so into the notion of catching Dylan while he's here – not just for the prestige, but the fact that this tour marks his first theatre performances in almost two decades.

The enthusiasm is not just limited to Perth and Melbourne, of course – Dylan recently added a second Sydney Opera House show to his spread of dates in the city, which also includes three sold-out gigs at the Sydney State Theatre.
