“It’s going to be a celebration like no other when we all come together finally."
Following another postponement to its 2021 event last month, the annual Byron Bay Bluesfest has today added more acts to next April's festival.
With an already huge line-up of Australian and New Zealand music royalty set to play, Bluesfest director Peter Noble today announces a further six additions to the bill - with even more still to be announced.
Local legends Missy Higgins, Diesel and The Teskey Brothers will all make their triumphant return to Bluesfest in 2022, with debuts from new additions 19-Twenty, L.A.B and Fools.
The artists will join previously announced acts such as Paul Kelly, Kasey Chambers, Midnight Oil, Jimmy Barnes and plenty more.
“It’s going to be a celebration like no other when we all come together finally, for the greatest healing when live music comes back,” Noble said of the upcoming event.

“We truly intend to continue in a manner of optimism, to present Bluesfest next easter with the very best Aussie and Kiwi artists... and there are many more to come.”
Noble also reiterated to ticketholders of the rescheduled festival that while refunds will be available, holding onto tickets will continue to aide the industry and Bluesfest itself.
“For those who are concerned about refunds – they will be available from 08 September through Moshtix. However, I can assure you that you can hold on to your tickets safe in the knowledge that, once all the artists have been announced, you will still have plenty of time to decide whether you wish to attend. Trust me though, this is the best lineup of Aussie and Kiwi talent... EVER!
"You won’t be asking for a refund – you’ll be asking for more tickets.”
