In news that is sure to interest very few KYS regulars, The Bloody Beetroots have announced a one-off, free gig at Sydney's iconic Oxford Art Factory on Wednesday.

The Italians, touring with their full band set-up - charmingly dubbed "Death Crew 77" - were plagued with technical problems during their set at Sydney's Creamfields Festival.

This free concert, titled "Fuck The Machine, Shit Happens", was organised by the band to placate disappointed fans.

Entry to Wednesday's concert, though attracting no charge, will be limited to the first 500 punters through the door.

Doors open at 9pm, for a 10:30pm start.
