Following a set of successful debut Australian dates, the groundbreaking UK techno festival Teletech returns down under this August.
Taking over Melbourne’s PICA on Friday, 9 August, and the Sydney Showgrounds on Saturday, 10 August, the 2024 edition of Teletech is headlined by hard techno artist blk.
The artist has been on an upward trajectory ever since he signed with the Irish-based agency reboot in 2021. He’s appeared at events such as Boiler Room (UK and Berlin), Latitude, and more. Joining blk. at this year’s Teletech is English dark techno artist Alex Farell, France-based techno DJ Fantasm, powerful techno artist OMAKS, and hard dance artist Varya Karpova. On the local front, Teletech has locked in Australia’s own Emma Moon.
Festival promoters expect the 2024 edition of Teletech to sell quickly after the debut Australian events sold out “immediately”. At the time of writing, Teletech Australia has 10,000 registrations from interested punters across the country, so you’ll have to get in fast to purchase your tickets.
Pre-sale tickets go on sale at 5 pm AEST on Wednesday, 15 May, followed by a general sale on Thursday, 16 May, at 5 pm AEST. Register here for access to pre-sale tickets.
Emma Moon has performed in some of the most revered spaces in Melbourne (Naarm), such as New Guernica, Glamorama, and Onesixone. She has opened for artists including Kettama, jamesjamesjames, and Nina Las Vegas with her DJ sets.
