Blink-182 are in the studio according to recent posts and respective comments from members of the band.

Drummer Travis Barker, posting via his Facebook page, wrote the following: "Recording new songs today with Matt Skiba and Mark Hoppus."

Equally, Blink-182 posted a subsequent update (view below), which was taken from Mark Hoppus' instagram page.

The band initially planned to begin a new full-length at the start of the year, but internal tension, which saw Tom DeLonge subsequently exit the group, stalled any progress. However, Blink-182 have been teasing studio updates over the last few months.

The California based punk veterans released their current studio album, 'Neighborhoods', in 2011.
