While 'One More Time' is a striking ballad, 'More Than You Know' is a fist-pumping pop-punk banger.

Blink-182’s first new album since 2011 with the beloved reunited line-up is shaping up nicely, with the band surprise-releasing not one but two singles overnight.
The title track to the band’s new album, One More Time…, which they announced earlier this week, was described as “the Mount Rushmore of Blink-182 songs” alongside classic songs like What’s My Age Again, Dammit, and Feelin’ This by vocalist and bassist Mark Hoppus. How does it actually stack up?
Set in a minor key with Tom DeLonge’s iconic vocals opening, the music video resembles I Miss You but all grown up. One More Time is the best kind of song from blink-182 – oozing in nostalgia, honest expression of emotions and powerfully doesn’t go for a big climax.
The lyrics themselves are emotional, with the band referencing Hoppus’ 2021 cancer diagnosis and Travis Barker’s experience in a 2008 plane crash: “I wish they told us / It shouldn’t take a sickness / Or airplanes falling out the sky.”
While One More Time is a striking ballad, More Than You Know begins akin to the mournful piano outro to Violence before powering up into a fist-pumping pop-punk banger. You can listen to both tracks below.
“I don’t feel pain, but I feel more than you’d ever know,” DeLonge sings in the emotional chorus. “I don’t feel shame. I don’t have highs, but I’ve got some lows.”
