Making up for lost time.
Their latest album, California, only dropped this past July, but according to Blink-182 drummer, Travis Barker, the seminal punk-rock trio are preparing to release more new tracks soon.
Following the success of the band's seventh studio album (and the first without co-founding member Tom Delonge), Barker revealed that the band will hit the studio in "a couple of weeks".
Speaking to Radio X, Barker said, "We're actually gonna get back in the studio in a couple of weeks and work on the deluxe version of California, which will include some songs nobody's heard yet".
Blink have stated in recent months that there were well over 20 songs written for the LP, which was eventually whittled down to 16.

It appears the group are making good on their promise to release new music more regularly after bassist Mark Hoppus told The Music just a few months ago that the plan would be to hit the studio following the album release and US tour that wrapped in October.
"I think the idea would be to get back in and record more, yeah, for sure," Hoppus said.
"That's the process of touring and recording. We want to have music out more often than every five years that's for sure."
Following some select gigs in the US to round out the year, Blink will next embark on a UK tour in July 2017.
