Black Rebel Motorcycle ClubHighly regarded alt-rockers Black Rebel Motorcycle Club have confirmed the details for the release of their sixth studio album, Specter At The Feast, following on from the group's most recent album, 2010's Beat The Devil's Tattoo.
Specter At The Feast is set to drop Friday 15 March through Abstract Dragon Records/Co-Operative Music, and is said to be influenced in part by the tragic loss of bass player Robert Been's father. The majority of the album was recorded in Dave Grohl's studio in Los Angeles, using the very same board Grohl has used to produce his upcoming documentary Sound City: The Movie.
Feeling slightly jaded after their epic 2010 tour Robert Been explains that, “These songs brought us back to life and gave us a second chance. I've never been more excited to play an album live before, these songs were born to be loud.”
Fans can expect the same winning formula that has bought the band to critical acclaim – fuzzy guitars slamming out rich, bluesy licks and atmospheric feedback with a touch of Pink Floyd influence. Here is a teaser video for the new album, and the track listing.
