Here's Who Is Set To Perform At The 2022 Grammy Awards

The event is set to take place on April 3 following COVID postponements.

The first batch of performers for the 2022 Grammy Awards has today been announced.

The Trevor Noah hosted ceremony is set to take place on April 3 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.

The first line-up of performers includes the seven times nominated Olivia Rodrigo, the seven time Grammy winner and seven times nominated Billie Eilish, as well as viral internet sensation Lil Nas X with Jack Harlow, Korean superstars BTS and Brandi Carlile. 

Brandi Carlile is nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance and American Roots Performance.

Lil Nas X is also up for Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Melodic Rap Performance and Music Video.

The awards show was initially scheduled for January 31, before being postponed due to concerns around the Omicron COVID variant. 

There’s plenty of Aussie talent among this year’s nominees.

Local superstar The Kid LAROI finds himself in the Best New Artist category, alongside the likes of Glass AnimalsOlivia RodrigoArlo Parks and more, while rock legends AC/DC have picked up three nominations this year, including Best Music Video and Best Rock Performance for Shot In The Dark and Best Rock Album for Power Up.

International favourites RÜFÜS DU SOL score a nod for in the Best Dance/Electronic Recording category for Alive, while Hiatus Kaiyote are vying for Best Progressive R&B Album with Mood Valiant and Nick Cave & Warren EllisCarnage finds itself in the Best Recording Package category.
