Cloud Control, Big Scary, Jagwar Ma Shortlisted For Amp

The ninth annual Australian Music Prize shortlist was unveiled at an event in Melbourne last night.

Leading this year's list are former AMP winners Cloud Control. They have been nominated for last year's album Dream Cave, having previously won in 2010 for their debut Bliss Release.

Others on this year's shortlist include:

Not Art - Big Scary
The Cold Light Of Day - Dialectrix
King Amongst Many - Horrorshow
Howlin' - Jagwar Ma
In Blood Memory - Jen Cloher
Phoenix - Jimblah
Embracism - Kirin J Callinan

The AMP winner will be announced on March 5.
