Spice Girls’ Mel C To Headline Big Gay Day 2020

Joined by Electric Fields, Cry Club and more.

Iconic LGBTQIA+ music festival Big Gay Day will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year in style, today unveiling a stacked 2020 line-up.

Next year’s event, held at Brisbane’s The Wickham Hotel on March 8, will be headlined by Mel C, aka Spice Girls’ Sporty Spice, with her band of drag performers, Sink The Pink, also appearing.

They’ll be joined by Electric Fields, Cry Club, The Regime and Being Jane Lane alongside DJs and more with the venue transformed via “an explosion of colour, glitter and rainbow love”.

Big Gay Day 2020 will raise funds for Queensland Aids Council, Brisbane Pride, The Australian Transgender Support Association of Queensland, Open Doors Youth Service, Diverse Voices and LGBTI Legal Service.
