Big Day Out event organisers have issued an update due to the high demand for tickets.
With pre-sale tickets sold-out nationally, souvenir tickets are now popular.
Big Day Out provided the following update:
Due to the huge uptake on Souvenir tickets we wanted to make fans aware of the following:
- Souvenir tickets are limited and the unexpected high demand demonstrated in the pre-sale means we expect them to sell out extremely quickly in the general sale this week.
- Don't get caught with a fake! Souvenir tickets will be posted out in late November to avoid scalping/counterfeiting. Do not attempt to purchase via ticket reselling sites they cannot guarantee physical stock of Souvenir tickets
So you know what these fancy tickets look like we have included a sample image here, note the holographic front and a unique QR code on the back to avoid counterfeiting.
Big Day Out 2014 Official On Sale commences this week:
GOLD COAST - 9am (local time) Wednesday 7 August
SYDNEY 1 & 2 - 9am (local time) Thursday 8 August
MELB, ADEL & PERTH - 9am (local time) Friday 9 August
