Triple J has quashed rumours circulating about the 2010 Big Day Out lineup, with several websites "announcing" that acts ranging from David Bowie to Rise Against are to be performing

Triple J has quashed rumours circulating about the 2010 Big Day Out lineup, with several websites "announcing" that acts ranging from David Bowie to Rise Against and The Mars Volta are to be performing at January’s annual travelling festival.

 

Dance Music website inthemix.com.au published rumours that Groove Armada, Calvin Harris and Dizzee Rascal would be appearing at BDO2010, while event details event details for the Adelaide Big Day Out were reportedly uploaded to Last.fm.

 

Lily Allen was among acts included in the Last.fm line-up, despite announcing earlier this week that she has no plans to record any more albums.

"Rumours about the Big Day Out 2010 lineup have been circulating the internet like crazy today.

Here at triple j we've eyed the official line up and can inform you that the one floating around online isn't accurate."

 

The actual lineup will be announced on triple j radio tomorrow morning.
