And it was AWESOME.

More Bullet For My Valentine More Bullet For My Valentine

Either Bullet For My Valentine are just awesome to their fans or they love their cricket.

On Friday night, just hours before the Welsh metal outfit were set to hit the stage at Brisbane's Eatons Hill Hotel, the band received a tweet from one Peter Nevill — the wicket-keeper for the Australian cricket team — asking them to add in one of their songs, Skin, into the set-list.

Now, it should be noted for those not too familiar with the players in the ol' bat and ball game, that Nevill is a self-confessed music and metal lover and he's almost as reliable with an axe as he is behind the stumps.

It didn't take long for BFMV frontman Matt Tuck to respond to Nevill, tweeting back, "Go on then, just for you mate".

And, as promised, the lads performed Skin just one song in for the Brisbane crowd in what was also their last show for the tour, despite not having it in the set-list at any of their other shows in the country this month (according to the Setlists website).

Howzat?
