After sharing a teaser on social media last night (12 August), Victoria’s premier New Year’s Eve festival celebration, Beyond The Valley, has confirmed its return. But it’s not just any return: the forthcoming edition of the festival marks its tenth anniversary.
Once again taking place at Barunah Plains, from Sunday, 28 December, to Thursday, 1 January, the theme of this year’s festival is Life In Technicolour—as captured in the festival’s new dystopian promo videos.
The new video, posted today, sees workers trapped in a lifeless routine, desperate to jump out. The teaser also shares a snippet of It Gets Better by Kettama, indicating the 2025/2026 festival is on its way.
Previous editions of the festival have hosted big-name artists such as Tyler, The Creator, Peggy Gou, Central Cee, RÜFÜS DU SOL, FISHER, Nelly Furtado, KAYTRANADA and others, with the tenth edition of Beyond The Valley promising to be big and bold.
In a statement, Untitled Group Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Filippo Palermo, said about hitting the ten-year milestone: “Reaching Beyond The Valley’s 10th edition is something we’re incredibly proud of.
“What started as an idea between a few mates has grown into one of Australia’s biggest and most unique events, welcoming tens of thousands each year from across the country and overseas.”

Palermo added, “This year we’ll be celebrating the music, art and community that has shaped the festival into an important piece of Australian culture. Our team is excited to share the biggest and most innovative BTV production to date.”
The forthcoming festival is set to host a reimagined Valley Stage, newly revamped Dance Dome, and the return of Dr Dan’s – Beyond The Valley’s three main stages, looking to shine.
The festival will also include new spaces and activations, such as The Lounge Room, Poof Doof, The Palms Pool House, and more, while the Valley Club will return for its second year, offering punters an “elevated members-only experience.”
Accommodation options for this year’s festival will include General and Premium camping, pre-pitched tents, Lux Camp packages, and the all-new Signature Package.
Punters will be able to purchase four-day, three-day, two-day and NYE-only tickets, as well as single-day tickets. Ticket and Car Pass bundles will also be available to attendees.
