One of the world's most powerful entertainers returns to Australia.
Her husband is in the middle of dropping one of the year's most anticipated records, her sister is winning the hearts of hipsters worldwide and her daughter is one of the most famous babies on the planet, but no one can outshine Beyoncé.
Today it has been announced that the singer will bring her Mrs Carter Show World Tour to Australia for a run of shows set to take in big venues across the nation.
Beyoncé Knowles rose to fame as one of the members of R&B girl group Destiny's Child, but by the time 2003 was through, she had released a smash hit album and began her unstoppable ascent to be one of the most powerful musicians – and celebrities in general – on the planet.
Four LPs, 17 Grammys, 13 million albums sold and an uncountable number of accolades later, she brings the Mrs Carter Show to people around the world, a massive show that makes use of the huge arenas in which it takes place. Check out this footage to get a look at what this show will be like.
