#BYOBottle
A number of Australia's biggest names in music are uniting behind a movement to ditch disposable plastic water bottles in the music scene in a bid to protect the environment.
Green Music Australia is announcing 31 new #BYOBottle Artist Ambassadors during 'Plastic Free July' led by Bernard Fanning and Killing Heidi, which already includes acts like Paul Kelly, Missy Higgins, Ash Grunwald, Katie Noonan, Ben Lee, Mia Dyson, Regurgitator and Ball Park Music.
Other artists to be announced as new ambassadors next month are Vika & Linda Bull, GL, All Our Exes Live in Texas, Sex On Toast and Mighty Duke & The Lords and they are all calling for single use plastic water bottles to be ditched at venues and festivals in favour of jugs or water stations.
"The Black Fins and I are proud to be part of the #BYOBottle campaign," Fanning said in a statement.

"Help us out by taking your own reusable water bottle every time you leave home. Thanks for your help!"
Green Music Australia Executive Director, Tim Hollo, said of the movement, "It's fantastic to see so many people getting behind this vision of a clean, green music scene.
"Throw-away bottles kill wildlife, contribute to global warming and leach toxins into our air and water. Let's junk them and junk the throw-away culture with them."
