We're not going to beat around the bush (because it'll probably catch ablaze): It is unreasonably hot at the moment.

You know it. We know it. The entire damned country knows it (with the possible exception of climate-change deniers, who will undoubtedly swear up-and-down that things are no worse now than in previous years, despite all that pesky science).

Well, we need to take our minds off the heat, and there's only so much that airconditioning can achieve on its own, so we're going to spend some time living vicariously through a fairly arbitrary collection of music videos set in, around and featuring swimming pools, water parks, the occasional ocean shot and straight-up arctic temperatures.

That's sound thinking, right? It's definitely as sound as it's getting in these conditions, at any rate.
