Pop-punk group Beach Bunny are making their long-awaited debut in Australia in March 2023.

The band begin the tour dates in Sydney on Wednesday, 15 March, at the Factory Theatre before heading to Melbourne on Friday, 17 March, at The Croxton Bandroom, then flying to New Zealand for a show at San Fran in Wellington on Tuesday, 21 March and ending their run at the Tuning Fork, Auckland on Wednesday, 22 March.

Tickets to all shows go on sale on Monday, 14 November, at 11 am local time. However, the Frontier Members pre-sale starts tomorrow, 11 November, at 9 am local time and will run for 24 hours unless allocation is exhausted before the timeframe ends.

Beach Bunny members singer-songwriter and guitarist Lili Trifilio, drummer Jon Alvarado and bass player Anthony Vaccaro are touring their second album, Emotional Creature, released in July this year. 2022 has been a big year for the Chicago trio, who played at Coachella and Primavera Sound festivals for the first time and completed a 35-date North American and European tour.

Emotional Creature was produced by Sean O'Keefe, known for his work with Fall Out Boy and Motion City Soundtrack, which helped bring out Beach Bunny's nostalgic Y2K pop-punk sound. Trifilio has received much critical acclaim for her candid, charming songcraft and vulnerable themes that she tackles with an open heart and an abundance of hooks.

Their 2018 EP, Prom Queen, gained immediate critical acclaim and commercial success, while the 2020 breakout debut album, Honeymoon, cemented Beach Bunny as a band to watch. Their album featured the hit single Cloud 9, certified gold in Australia and the US, and reached #7 on the TikTok Sounds Chart with over 2 million users playing the song in their videos.

Beach Bunny have since collaborated with Tegan & Sara and MARINA and have a well-documented fan in Better Call Saul's Bob Odenkirk, who starred in their Karaoke music video. He first shared his fandom in January 2019, calling Beach Bunny his favourite band. He met them in July of that year.
