The three gunmen who opened fire at the Bataclan hall in Paris at an Eagles Of Death Metal concert and killed 90 people reportedly targeted frontman Jesse Hughes during the attack.

According to Daily Mail, information from the judicial enquiry revealed that one of terrorists shouted "Where are the Yanks?" and "Where is the singer?" shortly after the band ran from the stage when the shootings began.

Though it is yet to be revealed why the killers allegedly targeted Hughes, it is known that the singer is a devout Christian and a passionate supporter of gun ownership in the US.

In a documentary released just weeks before the terror attacks entitled The Redemption Of The Devil, Hughes threatens physical violence against anyone who opposes the right to 'keep and bear arms'.
