BASSINTHEGRASS Unveils 2026 Festival Line-up

BASSINTHEGRASS Festival returns to Darwin in May 2026 with a stacked line-up that would get any punter excited.

The Mindil Beach-based event remains the largest music festival held in Darwin. BASSINTHEGRASS 2026 will feature over 20 acts spanning pop, R&B, indie, rock, metal, electronic, and dance music genres, celebrating the epic vibrancy of Australian music, plus two international acts are on board for the fun.

Artists featured on next year’s line-up include electronic duo Peking Duk, EDM star Anna Lunoe, blues outfit The Teskey Brothers, multi-instrumentalist and singer G Flip, rockers Ball Park Music, pop singer Kita Alexander, rock group Teen Jesus And The Jean Teasers, metal outfit In Hearts Wake, teenage music sensations Maple’s Pet Dinosaur, and others.

“BASSINTHEGRASS showcases Darwin at its very best. The line-up we have for the 2026 festival rivals any music festival in the country,” said Tourism and Events NT CEO Suzana Bishop. “It’s a cherished and favourite event amongst locals, and it is a major drawcard for visitors.”

Maple’s Pet Dinosaur’s lead singer Maple commented, “I’ve always wanted to go to Darwin, and now I’ve got the best reason ever.

“The band and I are so pumped to play BASSINTHEGRASS amongst a stacked line-up. We can’t wait to play and then hang out and watch all the other bands in that amazing BASSINTHEGRASS atmosphere we’ve heard so much about.”
