American singer-songwriter Jillian Rose Banks, mononymously known as BANKS, is heading back to Australia this November.
BANKS performed two sold-out acoustic shows in Melbourne last year in celebration of ten years of her beloved debut album, 2014’s Goddess. This time around, she’ll return with a full band and a new album to showcase her powerful, expanding sound.
In February, BANKS released the album Off With Her Head, a joyous LP that features special guests Doechii and Sampha. Her fifth album, BANKS has described Off With Her Head as “a big sister to Goddess” and released a deluxe edition of the album last week.
For the Off With Her Head tour, BANKS will perform at Melbourne’s Forum on Tuesday, 18 November, followed by shows at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Friday, 21 November, and Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Saturday, 22 November.
Frontier Members and fans signed up to BANKS’s website can access pre-sale tickets on Thursday, 22 May, at 11 am local time, ahead of the general sale starting on Monday, 26 May, at 11 am local time. You can find more ticketing information on the Frontier Touring website.

Before her exclusive Melbourne shows last November, BANKS performed at the 2019/2020 Falls Festival and toured across the country in 2017. Reviewing her show at Perth’s Astor Theatre, The Music’s Ash Westwood wrote, “It was an impressive feat to get every member of the 1200-strong audience up on their feet, dancing and chanting along to a song [Haunt] with such complex lyrics.”
Westwood concluded, “The atmosphere felt like every punter left the hall thoroughly impressed with Banks’ Tuesday night show, and everyone was eager to attend her next sermon.”
