Australian blues trio Backsliders are celebrating the release of their 14th studio album, Heathen Songbook, with a national tour to the far corners of the country.

The veterans of Aussie blues and roots will take their eclectic mix and engaging social commentary to regional areas next month for a tour that kicks off on release day in regional NSW at Carrington Hotel in Katoomba.

Heathen Songbook explores and rediscovers themes and ideas with timeless cultural and social context.
