Up and coming Gold Coast rockers Awaken I Am have posted an update, informing fans that their debut EP is close to completion.
The Queensland quintet commented on their Tumblr page recently, noting that they have also locked in a Producer/Engineer to mix and master the upcoming release entitled, 'Resonance'.
As Awaken I Am write:
"Hey Everyone,
I just wanted to write an update for all of you so you know where we are at with things at the moment. We have a couple of announcements we are super happy about making.
First of all we are glad to say that we are officially finished with the recording side of things. The process has been a long and sometimes frustrating affair but we are glad to have finally finished everything. We started about a month ago to finish off the last bits of vocals and programming that will finally make up our debut EP. If you all don’t know by now that title of our forthcoming cd is “Resonance”. We will be putting up our artwork and our track listing hopefully in the next week or two.
Secondly we are absolutely over the moon to announce that we are now working with Producer/Engineer Kris Crummett. We are so happy to be working with him as he will be Mixing and Mastering our debut EP. He has graciously taken time out from his busy schedule (currently between Sleeping With Sirens and Alesana) to mix and master our CD. Kris Crummett has worked on some of our favourite bands such Closure In Moscow, Emarosa, Dance Gavin Dance, Lower Definition, Kaddisfly, We Are The Emergency, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Jonny Craig and Sleeping With Sirens. We are so excited about working with him and cannot wait to hear the final product as well as letting all of you hear it. We hope to have a song up in early April for your listening pleasure and on top of that we are working on some new videos and tour dates.
