Acclaimed Aus True Crime Podcast Announces Special Live-streamed Event

“We have worked hard developing a different approach to live-streaming."

If you’re looking for a true crime fix while in iso, comedian Meshel Laurie and journalist Emily Webb have you covered, announcing a special live-streamed event for their acclaimed podcast Australian True Crime.

The duo has confirmed that top detectives Ron Iddles and Narelle Fraser will join their In Conversation event on May 16 at 8pm AEST to discuss some of the more interesting cases they’ve investigated over the years.

The event comes from TEG Dainty, with promoter Brad Drummond noting: “It is no secret that COVID-19 has had a devastating effect on the live touring industry.

“With all touring on indefinite hiatus, promoters and creators alike have been forced to pivot and find new and exciting ways to deliver fans a live experience in their lounge rooms.

“We have worked hard developing a different approach to live-streaming; an approach that combines high production value and unique interactive experiences.”

The live event will also feature a Q&A with Fraser and Iddles. Tickets are on sale now and you can find more details here.
