Australian DJ Fights For Life In Bali Hospital

Australian house DJ Jack McCord has undergone eight hours of surgery in a Bali hospital following a motorbike accident on Friday, according to The Daily Telegraph.

Friends have told the newspaper that 46 year-old McCord was lucky to be alive, reporting that he has apparently suffered "a shattered pelvis... many broken ribs ... some head injuries, a lacerated lung."

McCord, who now lives in Bali, is believed to have been found by locals outside of Seminyak. The cause of the accident is unknown.

Shaun Doyle, a friend of McCord, told the Telegraph that associates are raising funds to get McCord evacuated to Darwin for further treatment.

McCord is reported to now be in a coma.
