Following in the footsteps of Guy Sebastian and Dami Im, X Factor winner Isaiah Firebrace has been named as Australia’s representative at this year’s Eurovision.

Unveiled at Melbourne’s Paris Cat Jazz Club this afternoon, Firebrace performed the song he’ll take to Ukraine this May, Don’t Come Easy, alongside his debut single, It’s Gotta Be You and more.

“What an absolute honour it is to be representing Australia at Eurovision,” Firebrace said.

“It’s just beyond me but I’m really thankful for the opportunity.”

The news comes a week after it was announced Julia Zemiro and Sam Pang won’t be hosting this year’s local coverage.
