It was two years ago that Channel Nine announced their brand new interview series, The A List, and as we near closer to 2019, the show is still yet to receive a launch date.

As reported by TV Tonight, the show, which was to be hosted by entertainment reported Richard Wilkins, was originally scheduled for June 2017 but was "suddenly yanked" from programming.

The series was originally announced for an eight show run and was to feature interviews with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Adele, Hugh Jackman, Tom Cruise and Kendall & Kylie Jenner. 

Channel Nine advised last year that the original hold up was due to music licensing issues, with the show then slated to run in 2018. 

TV Tonight have shared that Channel Nine last week confirmed that it was still the same issue delaying the project and are yet to announce a new air date.
