New role for the songwriter.
Australian singer-songwriter Olivia Phyland has been announced as the new co-host of national TV music show, The Loop.
The Wagga Wagga musician and former ABC3 presenter who also fronts the folk band Jeanie, was handpicked from hundreds of applicants and will join current host Scott Tweedie on the TV program that airs clips and live performances from chart topping music artists.
"Listening to my favourite songs, interviewing industry icons and being able to bounce off my good mate Tweedie, is the ultimate dream job," Phyland said.
Tweedie was equally excited about the announcement: "I’m super pumped to work with Liv. She not only loves her music, but she is a talented musician as well."
