M-Phazes ProfileRenowned Australian hip hop producer M-Phazes has scored a major coup, with one of his beats now set to feature on Eminem's upcoming record The Marshall Mathers LP 2.
The local beat-maker teamed up with American producer S1 to create the album's intro number Bad Guy. Needless to say, M-Phazes, whose real name is Mark Landon, is over the moon with the outcome.
"Being a long time fan of Eminem, it's a real honor to co-produce the opening track of his next album, and it's incredible to know that both Rick Rubin and Dr. Dre have given my work their seal of approval!"
The Gold Coast native has worked with a huge range of artists throughout his career, including Talib Kweli, Xzibit, Bliss N Eso, Kimbra and Eminem touring partner 360. He is currently working on his own sophomore solo album.
Eminem will tour Australia in February, along with Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole and the aforementioned 360.
