Aussie Country Legend To Be Celebrated At Leaps & Bounds

A tribute to AP Johnson

Next month's Leaps & Bounds Music Festival has announced it will be holding a special tribute show to Aussie country music legend, AP Johnson.

A stellar lineup of local country music acts will take the stage on Saturday 11 July at the Rainbow Hotel to celebrate the life of Johnson who passed away 20 years ago this year. 

The free all day show will see the likes of Chris Wilson, Sarah Carroll and members of Johnson's band, the Dead Livers and Kenny Joe Blake perform on the day.  

Other acts confirmed to perform include Crown Of Thorns, Barb Waters, Leslie Avril and more.
