Aussie Artists To Pay Homage To Elton John With Huge Charity Show

After celebrating Aussie classics at the inaugural Variety Rocks fundraiser last year, Variety — the children's charity, have just announced that this year they will pay homage to Sir Elton John with a huge one-off show in September.

Playing the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on 10 September, the charity have enlisted 20 of Australia's finest for the event, led by Tim Freedman (The Whitlams), Adam Brand and more. 

Variety NSW/ACT CEO David Sexton said in a statement, "Variety has a long history of support from the entertainment industry and we look forward to continuing that wonderful heritage with Variety salutes Elton John this September".

"We have an incredible line up of artists who will light up the Enmore Theatre for a night of great entertainment and fundraising to help give Aussie kids a fair go in life."
