Augie MarchResurgent Aussie rockers Augie March have revealed the title, artwork and release date for their forthcoming fifth studio full-length album, out October 3 on Dark Satanic Records via Caroline Australia.
The record, which is titled Havens Dumb and features a pseudo-abstract rendering of an Australian map, was produced by band singer-songwriter Glenn Richards, and came to life across studios in both Tasmania and Victoria, with mixing duties handled by veteran sound man Paul McKercher.

Pre-orders for Havens Dumb open up tomorrow, August 8, and will be available in vinyl, CD and digital formats. Each format has its own perks, too – the vinyl includes a download code, the CD gets its own signed lyric print, and the digital track includes a free ‘instant grat’ track also taken from the album, Definitive History.
Havens Dumb marks the first new material from Augie March since their hiatus began in 2009, and precedes their forthcoming home-town shows, for which a third performance has recently been scheduled to cope with demand after the first two sold out.
Tickets are available now via the venue and Oztix. See the Gig Guide or check The Music App for more information.
