At The Drive In Lead Heckin' Amazing Yours & Owls Festival Line-up

Wollongong's own Yours & Owls Festival has unveiled its 2017 line-up, and organisers have pulled out all the stops to construct a seriously impressive line-up featuring some of the most beloved and buzzworthy local and international acts going right now, led by resurgent post-hardcore veterans At The Drive In.

ATDI will slot in their Y&O appearance in-between headline shows on their eagerly awaited whirlwind tour Down Under this September and October, hitting our shores to tout their equally anticipated, recently released new full-length, in•ter a•li•a, released earlier this month.

The Texan heroes will be flanked by a handful of their countrymen for the festivities, with fellow US outfits joining the fun including triple j faves Sorority Noise — who have also announced their own headline tour Down Under in support of their excellent third album You're Not As _____ As You Think — as well as Le Butcherettes, garage-pop vets AJJ (formerly Andrew Jackson Jihad) and frenetic rockers The Orwells, while New Zealand electro-soul luminaries Electric Wire Hustle rounding out the international ranks.

The Australian contingent is more than satisfactorily represented too, the line-up including established and emergent crowd favourites including The Presets, Illy, Dune Rats, Allday, Northlane, SAFIA, The Preatures, A.B. Original, Alex Lahey, Ali Barter, Confidence Man, HOLY HOLY, Montaigne, Trophy Eyes, Bec Sandridge, Cash Savage & The Last Drinks, Gold Class, Major Leagues, Ruby Fields, Totally Unicorn and more.

Pre-release tickets, available to Yours & Owls mailing list subscribers, will be available from this Friday, 19 May. General release will go on sale from Monday, 22 May, via Moshtix and the festival's website.

It all goes down at Stuart Park, North Wollongong, on Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October.
