"what followed was the worst experience any of us can recall when dealing with a touring artist."

Earlier this week it was alleged that Asquith sexually assaulted a former Lobster Theremin employee and DJ who shared her story on Instagram.

The statement read "shortly after my move to london he invited me out for drinks where he began to act extremely inappropriately and coerced me into going back to his flat despite me repeatedly saying no. i felt pressured and feared of being stranded alone in a new city and ubers were failing to show.

"immediately after we got to his i was sexually assaulted. i was grabbed, and asked forcefully to perform sexual acts whilst he exposed and touched himself. not once was any consent made and i did not know how to react except freeze up from fear. unfortunately this was not an isolated incident and his inappropriate and controlling behaviours continued through messages and in person in the weeks that followed. some examples included controlling how i ran my own instagram page, invalidation of my feelings, and manipulation tactics."

It continued, "i had one final conversation with jimmy (asquith) where i directly addressed the first incident and his behaviours, to which he admitted but responded in a very roundabout way. it really hurts to admit but the truth is that i was groomed as a young professional in the industry - and i fear for others that may end up in the same position as me. by his own admission 'all' his friends are 'young queer graduates' - coming from a 36 year old man this rings alarm bells."

Following the allegations Jimmy Asquith replied denying the allegations stating, "I am going to start by strongly refuting the allegations of sexual assault that have been made against me this weekend."

He also weirdly and manipulatively states that, "it was a naive decision to become personally and professionally linked with someone who I see was clearly feeling quite vulnerable."

Since the news of the allegations others have come forward to talk on Asquith's poor behaviour. DJ Amy Dabbs alleged that he forced her into letting him stay at her house last year.

She said, "[Asquith] then intimidated me in my own home so much that I had a panic attack in my bathroom, and subsequently tried to pressgang me into letting him stay again a few weeks later (and when I said no I was gaslighted as if I’d screwed up his plans)."

Promoter in the ACT also details a story of an incident after booking Asquith at a party. He tweeted saying that after the booking, "what followed was the worst experience any of us can recall when dealing with a touring artist. Asquith got incredibly intoxicated during his set, acted inappropriately with several of our female crew members and even kissed a punter even though we understood he had a partner at that time.

"The cherry on top of this bullshit behaviour was me getting a call at 4am from a local club, to come and collect Jimmy from their bathroom as he'd k-holed himself in a toilet cubical and refused to come out.

"By all reports he was rude and aggressive to venue staff when they checked in on him. He was so messy that taxis refused to collect him, and he was being verbally abusive to our crew as we tried to help him back to his room.

"We finally managed to get him back to the hotel, but I'm almost certain its only because jimmy thought he was going to be able sleep with one of our female crew members that was helping us walk him home. That was definitely not happening and our crew member was disgusted by his behaviour.

"Once tucked into his accommodation, he called us cunts and threatened to bash us all. He then proceeded to miss his flight back overseas in the morning, and had to cancel a panel appearance he was booked for that day.

"We reported all of this behavior to the touring agency who booked Asquith and pledged we would never deal with him again. Sadly, we are not surprised by the reports of his grooming and inappropriate behavior around women."
