Ash GrunwaldGearing up for his River single tour, bluesman Ash Grunwald has named three talented balladeers to join him on his short quest around the country, starting later this week in Queensland.
Indie muso Hein Cooper will be joining Grunwald for the most dates, bringing his soft acoustic stylings and delicate vocals to Melbourne, Barwon Heads, San Remo, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane.
On short but sweet stints, singer/pianist Thom Lion will join Grunwald in Adelaide while songstress Sahara Beck will take the stage with both Grunwald and Cooper in her hometown of Brisbane.
River is Grunwald's leading single off his forthcoming album, Now, said to be "a call to those who are fed up with being played the fool". Released earlier this month, Grunwald has already played to audiences around LA and Toronto.
