Ásgeir To Support Alt-J On Aussie Tour

Iceland singer-songwriter Ásgeir has been announced as the main support act for Alt-J's upcoming arena tour of Australia.

The alternative-folk musician is becoming somewhat of an adopted Aussie, with this visit to be his third in a year on the back of his recent Falls Festival/Southbound tour and last July's Splendour In The Grass trip.

The musician, who's track King And Cross landed at ten in the Hottest 100 this week, will open for the English trio at each of their five headline shows slated for May. Alt-J, who have also toured the country a couple of times during the last 12 months, had three tracks feature in the triple j countdown.
