Iceland's Ásgeir has announced a couple of headline shows to coincide with his forthcoming festival appearances.

The singer-songwriter is heading our way this New Year's season for Falls Festival, Southbound and Field Day, and will now also play two headline shows — one in Sydney at the Opera House on Wednesday 7 January and then in Melbourne at the Forum Theatre, Melbourne on Friday 9 January.

Supporting Ásgeir at the Melbourne show will be Elefant Traks artist Jane Tyrell. Head to theGuide and The Music App for more info.
