The Brissy deathcore outfit kick off a tour in New Zealand tonight
Queensland-bred heavyweights As Paradise Falls have extra cause for celebration when they begin their tour of New Zealand in Wellington tonight, following the announcement of their signing with not only US-based bookers the Lafayette Agency.
Coming hot on the heels of the news that they would be the first artist to join SF Touring's fledgling booking and touring agency here in Australia — though the company already books and manages contemporaries Witchgrinder — the Lafayette deal sees As Paradise Falls join a roster of artists that includes fellow Brissy barbarians A Breach Of Silence, as well as international outfits Super Bob, Elisium and Allen, Mack, Myers, Moore.
As Paradise Falls released their debut effort, Save Yourself, in October last year, and have spent the ensuing eight-or-so months continuing to refine their crushing live show, which is on display across the ditch as of this evening, when the band join up with support act Grimmace for a four-show run around New Zealand on The Demon Within tour across this weekend.
