Artist And Band Applications For 2016 St Kilda Festival And Live N Local Now Open

Applications are now open for Australian bands and artists to perform at the 2016 St Kilda Festival on 14 February as well as for bands and artists living, working or studying in the City Of Port Phillip to play the Live N Local week leading into the festival.

It's open to all emerging resident Australian bands and musicians who would like to perform in Australia's biggest free music festival, expected to attract more than 400,000 people across the day. Ten bands will be chosen to play on the New Music Stage, with the crowd favourite winning $5,000 and a spot on the Main Stage in 2017. 

Bands, musicians and performers are also being invited to apply now to be a part of St Kilda's Live N Local, two free live music weeks running at local venues and locations in Feb and Aug 2016. In order to be eligible to apply to Live N Local, at least one of the members must live, work or study in the City Of Port Phillip. Traditionally held in the week leading up to the St Kilda Festival, Live N Local runs 7 - 13 Feb, with a second event scheduled for Aug. Applications for both close 5pm, 28 Sep.
