Applications for artists wishing to perform at the 2017 Port Fairy Folk Festival (March 10 to 17) are now open.
Launched in 1977 in the picturesque fishing village of Port Fairy, the festival has since presented over 3,500 acts to an audience of over 240,000 ticket holders. The four-day event celebrates the diversity and discovery of folk, roots and world music.
This year's bill included big names like Cedric Burnside, Kate Miller-Heike, Ash Grunwald, Katie Noonan and Colin Hay.
Artists are encouraged to apply for their chance to join the 100-strong line-up, with applications now open until 10 July.
