For a few years in the early 2000s, New Jersey's Armor For Sleep were the poster-children for melodic, thoughtful, heart-on-sleeve angst-rock, storming onto the then-burgeoning third-wave emo scene with their acclaimed debut album, Dream To Make Believe, in 2003.
In 2005, they followed up with the well-received, thematically depressing What To Do When You Are Dead — a concept album that follows its protagonist through the afterlife in the wake of their suicide — and concluded their career in 2009 with one more album to their name, 2007's Smile For Them.
It's been solid silence ever since, but that all looks set to change this year; aside from this February past being What To Do When You Are Dead's 10th anniversary, the band have — for the first time in months — posted to their Facebook page two cryptic pictures hinting that all may not be as quiet in Armor For Sleep's camp as we previously thought.
The first is a simple screenshot (from Bethesda's excellent Fallout Shelter) that simply asks us to "Please standby", while the second is a little more telling, featuring the same silhouette as seen on the album art for the 2005 sophomore release and the more-concrete message, "Armor For Sleep 2015", with the promise of "more info soon".

It's not much, granted, and there's no indication as to whether the posts are indicative of a re-release or reunion tour to celebrate What To Do When You Are Dead's 10th anniversary, or if they're hinting at something more substantial - but, hey, we will take anything we can get at this stage.
Keep an eye out for further updates from Armor For Sleep soon and, in the interim, take the excuse to bust out some old favourites.
