Following claims that a mentally-disturbed Belgian man made threats against the singer on social media.
Police armed with submachine guns were called to Kylie Minogue's gig in Germany on Tuesday night due to a potential security threat.
As DW reports, all male concertgoers were frisked by security at the Palladium in Cologne following claims that a mentally-disturbed Belgian man made threats against the Australian singer on social media leading up to the concert.
"The organisers contacted us due to a possible threat scenario based on evaluating social media platforms," a police spokesman told German news agency DPA.
"When it comes to things like that, we cannot simply stand by."
The show reportedly went ahead incident-free.
Minogue will wrap up her Golden tour in Europe next month before bringing it to Australia in March next year.
