The 2011 ARIA Award Nominees have been announced, with albums by Boy & Bear, Cut Copy, Eskimo Joe, Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu and Grinderman nominated for Album of the Year.
Little Red's "Midnight Remember" and The Panics' "Rain On The Humming Wire" feature on the nominees list for Best Adult Alternative Album, while The Middle East's "I Want That You Are Always Happy" is nominated for the Best Breakthrough Artist - Album Award.
Contenders for the Best Hard Rock / Heavy Metal album are Coerce's "Ethereal Surrogate Saviour", Cosmic Psychos' "Glorius Basterds", Dream On Dreamer's "Heartbound", Floating Me's "Floating Me" and Front End Loader's "Ritardando".
