The UK outfit has done it!
UK heavyweights Architects have scored their first ever #1 Australian album with their ninth studio record, For Those That Wish To Exist.
The album, which also debuted at #1 in their home country, is the post-metalcore quintet's third straight album to hit the top ten of the ARIA Albums chart.
Architects beat Brisbane band Sheppard's Kaleidoscope Eyes which debuted at #2 and music legend Alice Cooper's 21st solo album, Detroit Stories, at #3 (Cooper's highest ever local debut).
Other Aussie acts who debuted in the top 40 of the Albums chart this week included Melbourne six-piece King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard's 17th album LW (#39) and Nick Cave & Warren Ellis' Carnage (#40).
Over on the Singles chart, Glass Animals have managed to stay on top with Heat Waves, just ahead of Olivia Rodrigo's Driver's License at #2 and Australia's own The Kid LAROI at #3 with Without You.

Meanwhile emerging Sydney rapper Masked Wolf has continued to climb the charts here in Australia and abroad with Astronaut In The Ocean.
The 2019-released single (re-released this past January) has jumped up 16 spots on the ARIA Singles chart to place at #16, while also climbing to #32 in the UK and #62 in the US.
