Hitting cinemas this September.
Grammy-award winning band Arcade Fire have announced the release of their very first feature film, The Reflektor Tapes, set to hit cinemas for a limited time only this September.
The forthcoming film directed by Sundance prize winner Kahlil Joseph will give fans an exclusive insight into the making of the Canadian outfit's critically acclaimed 2013 album Reflektor, from the very beginning of the process in Jamaica, to recording in Montreal and finally moving on to play live packed out arena shows in LA and London.
As well as getting to relive and watch some of the best concert moments from the group's Reflektor tour, viewers will be able to see never-before-seen footage, exclusive interviews and 20 minutes of unseen footage, specifically filmed for cinema audiences.
Speaking on the upcoming film the band said: "There were parts of the Reflektor tour where I think we, Arcade Fire, came the closest in our careers to putting on stage what we imagined in our heads."
