Apple Recalls Beats Pill XL Due To Fire Hazard Risk

If you have one, send it back now.

This will be a tough pill to swallow for Apple.

The tech-giants have today recalled all Beats Pill XL Speakers as they have found some of the product's batteries are overheating and are causing a serious fire risk.

Apple released a statement saying they have "voluntarily decided" to recall the product which was introduced in January last year and are asking all customers who own only the XL speaker to stop using it and send it back immediately.

Customers will be able to receive a store credit or an electronic payment to the amount of purchase upon returning their item.

The news also comes just weeks before Apple are due to relaunch their music streaming programBeats Music in which they are planning to charge subscribers $10 a month for the service.
