Reports are circulating that a select batch of Chris Brown CD’s found in British HMV stores have anti-violence advisory stickers plastered on the front.
NME reported last week that copies of Brown’s latest album ‘Fortune’ have a sticker reading: “Warning! Do not buy this album! This man beats women.”
“The stickers, which bear the message are thought to have been placed on the albums by anti-domestic violence campaigners. They were first spotted in a Cambridge branch of HMV,” NME reports.
HMV states that they had no involvement in the stickers and claim it was an isolated and unintended incident.
Someone's been busy in Cambridge! Respect to whoever did this in HMV today! twitter.com/CUSUwomen/stat…
