Triple J have announced that their feature album next week will be "Merriweather Post Pavilion" - the much-hyped, much-talked about 8th studio album by Animal Collective.
Already touted as a front runner for album of the year by everyone from Pitchfork to the New York Times (not to mention the plethora of hipster bloggers out there), it's surely not to be the last time you hear of AC this year. They've also announced a world tour running through to June, with no Aussie dates as yet.
The album is out this Saturday via Virgin/EMI
