U.S 'noise pop' band Animal Collective will be making their way out to Australia for the sold out Meredith Music Festival in November. Fans all over the country have been waiting with baited breath for the announcement of sideshows and low and behold, they have just been voiced.
Animal Collective will not only play Meredith but will visit the good folk in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, and will also do their own headline show in Melbourne. The band will arrive here on a wave of hype, being labeled one of the ‘it’ bands of the last 12 months. The guy’s latest release ‘Merriweather Post Pavilion’ (the bands 8th studio album) has been a huge success here in Australia and no doubt these shows will sell out in heartbeat.
